Review Antique cloak room basin Poste d'Eau Delafon
Description
Antique sink with two stylized soap dishes.
Antique sink with two stylized soap dishes on either side and beautiful detailing around the high back. This sink was likely manufactured around 1910 by the French sanitary firm Jacob Delafon, renowned for its high-quality sanitary products.
These sinks are rarely found with the original soap dishes intact, as they are often broken off. The soap dishes themselves are beautifully stylized, indicating their age. Later models are much less detailed due to the increasing wear on the molds in which they were made.
The sink has a flat back and must be combined with a wall-mounted faucet.
Dimensions: 39 cm wide x 24 cm deep.
