Antique Brass Shelf

A rare brass shelf designed for use by a washbasin or in the shower. Made around 1900, it is still complete with the special clamps that hold the glass shelf securely in place. Currently, the shelf features an opaline or milk glass plate, but since these are two separate elements mounted on the wall, a longer glass plate can also be installed to extend the shelf. This can be useful if you want the shelf to be as wide as the washbasin.

This is a fantastic set of shelf brackets that we don't often come across. Usually, the holders are incomplete, with only one remaining.
